We've got some fabulous exhibit space lined up for 2026
NVAA at River Arts in Morrisville, VT
SUBMISSION DATE: February 14th (Valentine's Day), 2026. Scroll down for submission guidelines.
DATE OF EXHIBIT: February 21, 2026 to April. Take-down/pick-up date is TBA. Please check back.
DROP OFF YOUR WORK February 21, 2026, 10 - 12 noon. Volunteers for help hanging show are welcome.
SOME NOTES AND DETAILS: NVAA is pleased to be exhibiting at River Arts, a vibrant and active art community and gathering place on Pleasant Street in Morrisville, Vermont. This is a non-juried exhibit, open to all members. Get your art supplies out and start getting ready for it!
MORE NOTES: Artists will be allowed two submissions each, and can be 30 inches per side not including the frame. As usual please make sure your pieces are "gallery ready" ( clean edges to all canvases, wire strung, NO SAWTOOTH HANGERS).
FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE: The gallery space we have available to us can handle about 32 pieces. So, similarly to our recent Copley Show, we will have a "first come, first serve" approach. Once we hit that limit of 32 pieces, submissions will no longer be accepted. I will also keep you posted on the numbers as they come in. SIZE LIMITATION plus or minus 30" on largest side. 2-D work only for this show (no sculpture).
KEEP IN MIND: River Arts hosts many children's activities, so artwork will be seen by children.
RECEPTION March 5th 5:30 to 7:30.
SALES: River Arts will take 30% commission and will handle all sales. All work must stay on the wall for the duration of the exhibit.
LOCATION: In Morrisville, Vermont. To our members who live in the Burlington area (or may have trouble getting their work there), I will once again make plans to be in the Jeffersonville area for one day, which is somewhat of a halfway point from Burlington area and Morrisville if you're coming in on Rt 15. When the time comes, I can meet you there and bring your work to drop-off if you can't make the full trip. - Marcie V

ONGOING EXHIBIT
NVAA AT THE FLEMING MUSEUM - This show is up right now!
2025 Fall semester and 2026 Spring Semester.

Location: Fleming Museum of Art

Located within the UVM Medical Center and University of Vermont Campus.
Show dates: Work will be exhibited during Fall 2025 and Spring 2026.
Take down/pick up artwork: Date TBA 10 am to noon
Details: From the mid-1940s until the 1970s, the Northern Vermont Artists Association showed annually at the Fleming Museum, as perhaps some of our longtime members can attest. We at NVAA are thrilled to once again, exhibit at the Fleming.
The exhibit theme is GATHERING AND COMMUNITY. Juried by the curators at Fleming Museum, the NVAA and the Fleming together took an imaginative approach to interpreting Gathering and Community. The exhibit displays a combination of figural, abstracted, and traditional imagery, in a variety of mediums.

Details: Thank you to our members for submitting work, and what a great show this is! It has quite a variety of excellent work. Thank you to Copley Hospital for the opportunity to share our work with the community in this setting. Congratulations to all who participated and all who sold art work.
